I need some help. Planning to install a tranny temp sensor gauge in a new tranny pan I just bought. Before I do the switch from old to new; need to know best place to locate sesor without interference internally. I have not seen the inside of a 700 tranny yet. Want to have everything ready before hand. The sensor will be 11/16 in dia. and will stick inside the pan approx. 1/2". I thought maybe back --drivers side corner-and as low as I can go but leaving enough room to have room to braze bushing on the inside of pan.I have an Auto Meter #4757 unit.
