speedo gears ?
hey guys, I need to know if the speedo cable, where it goes into the tranny, uses plastic gears (earlier 700R4's) or the metal type gears (newer 4l60's, etc). I cant look for myself b/c I am nowhere near my car. Its my 92 Z-28 L98.
Im pretty sure it would be the plastic gears but am not positive...anybody??

JMD....no, I don't THINK I need them. I am buying a ProBuilt 700R4 to replace my current stocker and Dana asked me to check and make sure on wether I had plastic or the metal gears. So, assuming that everything attached to my speedo cable is transferable...I'm good.
