I have an 86 iroc 305 tpi with a 700r4 tranny... When it is in overdrive and I floor it, instead of shifting into 3rd it goes into neutral...after the r's come back down to about a grand it kicks in which slams the rearend... I called transmissions across america and they said bring it up and they would diagnose it free... Has anyone on here ever dealt with them before?

that hasnt happened to me but i dont think you can floor it and have it shift to 4th w/out a shift kit. im not sure on this but o think ive read that you cant press more than 3/4 down if you want it to shift , and dont have a shift kit.
