85 and 87 700R4 Wiring (SOMEONE HELP)

Car: '87 IROC-Z/'82 RX7
Engine: SBC 355/1.1L Rotary
Transmission: T56/5 Speed
Axle/Gears: 4.33/3.93
85 and 87 700R4 Wiring (SOMEONE HELP)
How is the wiring and setup different between the '85 700R4 and the '87 700R4. I plan to put my built trans from my old '85 in my new '87 and was told the wiring and maybe even some of the valve body stuff is different.
SOMEONE that KNOWS please help me out here! I've been told that it's the same; that all I have to do is swap the wiring; or swap the wiring and parts of the valve body.
