Gears?
When someone says that they are getting gears does that mean gears for the tranny? or gears for the rear end? say you want 373's for a stock auto tranny witch is usally 232's? right anyway where do u go to buy them

'Tbird' there talking about the rear gears. You can change gears in autos & manuals, but it's not at all cost effective for the street or even entry level racing.
The rear gears are cheaper to purchase & install. I personaly installed a Richmond gearset.

Oh BTW: Installing rear gears does require some serious equipment, so it's best left to a shop.
Transmission gears, if you can find them require a teardown of the transmission.
Not sure of the TH-700, but the TH-350 - I've only seen a different 1st gear ratio, and it was very pricey. So I wouldn't even mess with auto gearing. Manuals are a little bit easier to get completly new gear ratios, but still very pricey.
