ok, here's a situation: you're driving, you get stopped at a red light, as it turns green you step on the gas but you don't go anywhere. the engine revs like it's in park or neutral, but you are in drive and you're not going anywhere. since i know very little about transmissions, i ask you guys what could this problem be? my only speculation is that something is not engaging. what that thing is i have no idea. i really would appreciate all the help i can get from you guys. :hail:

 

Next time it does it, drop it down into Drive (manual 3rd gear) and see if it pulls off. If so, sounds like Foward Sprag issues.
