Coworker is selling a 87 camaro for 600$. It has a good tranny with alittle over 100k on it. Trannys is good right now. Had a shift kit put in along time ago. His dad owned the car since day one.

If the transmission still shifts good should i get this? or spend 1400$ and buy a probuilt tranny. If I get his tranny I will have enough money for a decent stall, and hooker 2055 headers to go with my 3'' hooker catback. This way I can get rid of my dual exhaust.

I will also get a set of 92 z28 rims with z rated tires. The rims and tires are in great shape. Perfect winter rims so i dont mess up my TT IIs. I will also get a set of IROCs with it. I would have a total of 4 set of rims for my camaro lol.

I would also have a parts car. Im thinking about doing this. I really like the idea of having a car i can rip apart for mine.

Maybe get this now and worry about getting a badass tranny after I make enough power to need it.
