v-8 and v-6 clutch hydraulics the same??
Hey guys I am having a disengagement problem with my clutch and before I change the clutch and rip everything apart I wunna change the hydraulics. Now I am just gonna go to the junk yard and grab some off another car. Now are the v-6 and v-8 model hydraulics the same or no? Cause around here the v-6 cars are all thats in the junkyards. Also are there any ways to check and see if the units are good or bad? Thanks for any input

Have you checked on the amount of travel of the slave cylinder pushrod? The GM spec for the pushrod travel is .58". If that measures fine, your problem lies elsewhere.
And for the record, V6 and V8 hydraulics are the same.
