Engine: 89 IROC 350 TPI
Transmission: 700R4 rebuilt w/TCI kit
Axle/Gears: 9" from 57 ranchero unsure gears.
t-56 for LS1 or LT1
are these interchangeable? I didnt think they were but the guy who is selling this tranny is saying yes
??, I want to find out before I decide to shell out some major cash on a 6 spd that wont bolt up to my L98.

The LS1 and LT1 trannies are interchangeable only if you swap the LS1's input shaft and bell housing for LT1 pieces.
Generally not with the effort to get an LS1 trans.
