Can you rebuild nwc T5 to WC T5 specs?

Engine: 305 TPI-New 355 on the engine stand
Transmission: T56
Axle/Gears: 3.73 Eaton posi-Soon a 9" Ford!
This question comes up all the time and the answer is still no.
A WC uses different gears, different case, etc. etc. You could upgrade the mainshaft assembly with another completely new mainshaft and gears, but why? You would still have the NWC bearings on the cluster.
Keep the NWC and rebuild it with the video and rebuild kit from

I am not in the market to buy, I just bought a T56 to install. I was going to sell my T5 setup to someone, but that fell through, so now I'm kind of stuck with a T5 that needs a new clutch and 2nd gear synchro. I may try to rebuild it myself, or may try to sell it off to someone else.
FYI I tried searching for this topic (I thought it would have come up before!) but the search engine won't let you look for T5...so I took the easy way out.
