Installing poly tranny mount, raising tranny....

I installed my poly tranny. mount (5spd) today but to get the tranny crossmember on I had to raise the tranny about 3/4" to an inch above what it was with the old rubber mount. Is this gonna be a problem for me? Will this affect the tranny or clutch in any way?
I also notice a lot more sound and vibration now, I'm assuming that's because the poly transfers more sounds and vibrations then the rubber. The differences are noticeable but the only reason, other then the poly/rubber difference, I think I'd be hearing/feeling more is what I asked about above, the tranny needing to be raised. Let me know your thoughts about this too.

Thanks for the help
