When are we gonna get pics of this aluminum support cover? A diagram, or pic of a prototype would be fine. That way we know somebody is at least half way serious about producing one of these and we don't have to go thru the same thing we did with ASCD and their 5" IROC spoiler.
I know miles is a busy man and he certainly seems respectible, but he has promised this for a loooooooooooooooong time.

Also, is it gonna be made in the US or OZ? I hope here so that it doesn't have to be imported and we'll be able to afford it?

Hey, I just got another idea, if somebody manufacturer here in the states would make a few ratios of 9 bolt gear sets, folks would probably buy more since they would be cheaper than having to buy imported ones.

Thanks,
Dwain Brammer

I had a pic posted the other week to show that this is serious and is close, but it was deleted by a moderator because it was viewed as free advertising Hence, it is ok for someone else to post about the information and solutions I have available but it is not ok for me to do so. What I don't understand is I've been coming here for over 6 years and posting info on 9 bolts for over 2 years and now all of a sudden it's a problem. This is between me and the moderator, so I won't go into details, but I want everyone to know why I am not posting information anymore.

Yeah, they did the same thing with the HMS Strut mounts. These are things that will help the thirdgen comunity, and I think it is a bit overboard to delete threads about them. Due to them deleting these threads it keeps new products from people that cant afford to advertize from existing. I know that there were several people that were hoping to be able to get a set of those strut mounts, but hms probably wont be able to make them because he wont have enough people interested to pay for the labor he would have to put into them without the thread.

Anyway, Miles could you send me a picture of the cover? I really hope you still plan on making it.

Ben

Yeah, I've wondered about the gear mfg. myself? I figured it's oem BTR/Spicer Axle Australia because nobody aftermarket offers anything except 3.70 and the cost is high which to me reflects importing.

As for the cover, please email me a pic.
In terms of you not being able to post a pic of it is super gay. The advertising clause serves a just purpose, but come on folks sometimes we can take things too far, let's not take our jobs too seriously here. I have this hobby and frequent this site to try and get away from politics, drama, and personal agendas. Let's not ruin a good thing. PLEASE DONT TAKE THAT AWAY FROM US!
As for your posting rights, well we all know that's easy to get around. Just play the game.
I didn't have the opportunity to see the other post, but if you didn't post a price then you really aren't advertising.
I would re-post it and describe it as something you have been working on. You are not stating that you are selling it, merely letting people know your progress in solving your problem with carrier deflection of the 9 bolt rearend. People on here who are 9 bolt victims know you are the man to see about BW gears. Newbies will quickly discover the search button and find the posts directing them to what vendors have what. 2 + 2 will be put together and so on. I know you smell where I'm steppin' here. If they give you a bunch of shiit, send me a pic and I'll post it. I'm not affiliated with you in any way so there's no way they can say I'm advertising.

Put me on the list for a cover too, please. Every little bit of strength helps, especially in a stick shift car. And I'll be coming to you soon when I finally get tiring of my whining 3.70 gears I have now.
