converter lockup
i'm probably going to get a tci lockup wiring kit for my th200-4r.
when does the convertor lock up? i know it locks up when your cruising in 4th but how much gas do you have to give it to get it to disengage? do you have to get it to kick down to 3rd? also, does it lock up in any other gears besides 4th?

If you wire the TCI kit according to its instructions, it will lock the transmission when cruising in 4th. It also has a vacuum switch that will unlock the transmission at about 8" of vacuum or so, but it's adjustable. If you have a loose converter the vacuum switch can cause some annoying cycling sometimes.
