Ok, buddy of mine is looking into an '87 GTA. He wants the 3.27 gears and according to this site the only option for the GTA was 3.27's. But he went to another site and they said that 2.77's were also available in that year. However, my '88 has 2.77's and according to the site he looked at, they were not available in '88 either...obviously my car proved otherwise. So what should he believe? Were 3.27's the only option gear wise, or were 2.77's also available? Thanks for any info.

 

Correction only option for the 350 motor....

 

well i dunno about GTAs but my 89 IROC has a 350 and 2.77 9 bolt rear stock
