Ok, in the ongoing saga with my 91 astro van transmission, i put the governor from my stock trans into the astro trans and it seems to work a hell of alot better, but first gear does some weird ****. It jumps real quick to 3250 and then hangs there for what seems like an eternity, a good 3 seconds, then the rpm's drop and pick back up (500rpm or so each way) and then it shifts...but it friggin takes forever...it's horrid...definately the worst part of the entire accelerating experience...any ideas from the tranny gods?
