When you install a set of rear end gears what is the gear mesh supposed to look like and is there a play value? Does anybody have any pics or info on this install? Thank you

the play value is refered to as back lash and is differant for each gear set. the back lash is etched on the ring gear, it should be something like .008.

 

Interesting somone suggesting they have affiliation w/ a Cav unit doesn't know how to spell it.
