Axle/Gears: Ford 9" 4.11
help me find a 12bolt or 9" rear
I'm looking for a 12 or a 9" rear end to put in my car. I've been looking around and most prices are around 2 grand. Does anybody know where I can find one for cheaper? BTW it doesn't matter if it's a 4th gen rear end or a 3rd gen rear end. I'd actually prefer it to fit a fourth gen cuz I'll need the extra coupla inches for my new wheels and tires. thanx

2 grand is the going rate for a new one made for our cars it seems. i guess you could try a junkyard and get a 12 bolt off a truck and try and modify it to work...maybe?
