I'm half way changing the transmission filter on my 700r4, and the pinkish o-ring seal that was on the filter neck is stuck in the tranny still, been trying to get it out.. but it does not want to move!.. Help. has anyone else had this problem.. how do I get it out..

 

never mind.. got it.. incase anyone else ever has this problem.. here is how I solved it.. get some clean metal rod about a bit smaller than a coat hanger.. bend a hook on one end, and on the other make a loop big enough for your finger.. press the hook end in the upper part of the o-ring, and while pushing into the side of the o-ring, pull down with a steady constant force.. and it will come out.. it will take a couple tries.. but be paitent if it doesn't want to come.. be sure afterwards to clean out any bits of the seal left on the tranny..
