Installing Disc brake rear in 88 Formula

I need help with installing my rear.I have a posi disc brake rear I want to install in my 88 formula.The rear is a 9 bolt out of an 85 trans am. I also have the the proportioning valve and master cylinder from the trans am.What parts do I need to make this work.Do I change the proportioning valve and the master cylinder? Do I also have to change the power booster? Thanks a lot!!!

Casey did you mean this is a direct bolt in ? There is no need to change the other parts?

Yeah you should have no problem all the spring perches and panard bars are the same all you need to do is make sure the e-brake stuff is all good!

rear disc conversion

you WILL need to change the proportioning valve and master cylinder (the proportioning valve is set up different, and there is a check ball in the master cylinder). You might have some funny operation if you don't change these components from your drum brake 91 setup... i converted my '88 drum to a '84 disc system, changed all of those components, didn't have a problem.. you will also need new parking brake cables from the equilizer back... if you need any other info, i'd be glad to help....
