I need help with installing my rear.I have a posi disc brake rear I want to install in my 88 formula. The rear is a 9 bolt out of an 85 trans am. I also have the the proportioning valve and master cylinder from the trans am.What parts do I need to make this work.Do I change the proportioning valve and the master cylinder? Do I also have to change the power booster? Thanks a lot!!!

rear disc conversion
you WILL need to change the proportioning valve and master cylinder (the proportioning valve is set up different, and there is a check ball in the master cylinder). You might have some funny operation if you don't change these components from your drum brake 91 setup... i converted my '88 drum to a '84 disc system, changed all of those components, didn't have a problem.. you will also need new parking brake cables from the equilizer back... if you need any other info, i'd be glad to help....
