Still having issues with Digital Dakota box (six speed VSS signal conversion)
I have never been able to get the damn thing working right! If I put the signal wire in output 2 - 4, nothing happens. If I use output 1, the speedo goes crazy and the needle is all over the place! (and no, it's not my eratic driving!!)
What would happen if I just wire the VSS directly to the ECM signal wires. Would the speedo read double of actual speed?
Need help please!! I'm tired of not having a damn speedo!
Thanks,
Mike (1bad91Z)

I took the signal wire out of output 1. When it was in output 1, even when I was driving it was all over the place. It also made the odometer go crazy (adding a very quick 800 miles to the car) actual 5 mile trip!!! Did you ground all of your ground wires at the same ground? And do you use both or only one of the VSS wires? Also, what would happen if I wired the 2 six-speed VSS wires directly to the 2 ECM vss wires?
