what gear ratio for rear?
I am getting ready to get new gears and posi unti in my 9 bolt. My question is what ratio would benefit me the most for drag racing? I have a T56 and my mods are in my sig. I will be getting drag radials also. I wasleaning towards 3.73 because I am afraid 4.10 will be too low for me, so anyone with experience please chime in.

If this is a daily driver, I would say 4.10's would be too much. I would go with the 3.73.

4.10's aint extreme well...it counts how you drive. If you speed a whole lot? then yes it till be bad. But if your more of a cruizer but pounds it on the weekends type thing then its all good. I have a T56 w/4.10 gearing. And at 1,500 I'm going 55mph which is speed limit on teh freeway here.
