Yet another Detent cable question

Ok I read the tech article about how to set the TV cable, but I'm confused. What is meant by the metal "tang", and do I have to disconnect the cable from the TB? I'm not quite sure I follow what is stated there... this is for an L98 by the way. Any info appreciated.

Thanks,
Probably right in my face and I'm overlooking it.

The metal tang is the little D shaped metal piece on the side of the bracket that connects the cable to the throttle body. Just push it in with a screwdriver then slide the cable back toward the car. Put the throttle to the floor. You should hear a few clicks then your done.

<-- Smacking forehead repeatedly.

Edit: Man I feel like an IDIOT. Never mind, I figured it out, it's so stinking easy. Of course, that's the way it always goes, right in front of my face.
