Ok I know this is going to sound really stupid to everyone but i have a 92 RS...its an automatic so i'm guessing its a 700r4. 1) How can i make sure?

I also was looking into a shift kit. Which do you think is the best and easiest to install? I was looking at the Transgo cause it comes with a video and i figured it wouldn't be too hard, but the one i looked at didn't come with a shifter so it might be wrong. Like i said i know this sounds stupid, but any help would be greatly apprieciated. Thanks

from searches ran on here you will find that on most cases transgo in the way to go.

the automatic tranny in your car if its stock would be a Hydra-Matic 4L60) a.k.a 700R4 i believe they are the same just the name changed in 91 i think.
