Pinion Angle

I know most of you have lowered your car with the adjustable panhard rod, LCA, LCA relocation brackets, and Eibach springs. Have you any issues with the rearend pinion angle?

Mine car is making a ratcheting or grinding noise from the transmission area when coming to a stop. This happened after driving at 80 mph for 3 hours. The noise did not remain, but it got me worried.

Car is going in for tranny check via pressure when car shifts gears. Mechanic said cars lowered like ours can mess with the pinion angle and that was not good. Any comments on this?

Finally, the car makes a "clunking" noise when coming to a full stop, actually at the end of the stop. Sounds like bad u-joints, but it only does it at end of stop. It did this when I first bought it and now after all suspension parts, and engine, and engine and tranny mounts were replaced. Tranny is 80K miles, T700R4, some mods (vette servo) but I don't know what they were. Driveshaft is new AL with new U-joints.
