Ok, Ive put around 8000 miles on my tranny since the motor swap, and now it seems to be giving me a lot of crap. The fluid smells burnt, and the level is fine. Ive attempted to adjust the tv cable, and the transfixleo method made it shift kind of hard, but only above 2300. It just wont shift unless I rev above that. If I move the cable, it shifts where it is supposed to, it just slips a lot. The 2-3 shift seems especially bad. It won't downshift when it should either. I can get it to like 3/4 throttle in 4th gear at 50 mph. Am I beyond any type of fix other than a rebuild. Money is tight, and swapping to a th350 is looking mighty tempting, given the huge price difference. This is in the T/A, not the maro.
