What the leak?

My friend's 89 T/A has a tranny fluid leak coming from the front of the torque converter where it connects to the motor. Is this repairable or will he need a new torque converter to fix it? Thanks.

there's no place for it to leak where it connects to the flex plate, unless it's cracked.

Uh oh, or it must be coming from somewhere that I can't see, but it sure looks like that's where it's coming from. I guess I get to break the happy news to him Thanks.
