'89 IROC rearend specs??

'89 IROC L03 rearend specs?? It has a 700R4 tranny going to a 2.73 rearend with posi. Is this a series 2 or 3 carrier? Any input is appreciated. I am thinking about swapping it out for 3.42 gears.

Engine: LS1

Transmission: 4L60E

Axle/Gears: 3.23 10 Bolt

if it has 2.73 its a 2 series carrier. 3.08 ratio and numerically lower have a 2 series carrier, 3.23 and up is a 3 series carrier

Thanks. I just got confused because I see alot of 3.42's being offered for a 2 series carrier as well as the 3 series. This threw me off. Thanks for the clarification.
