What could make a rear end do this?
What could make a rear end do this?
I'm on my third rear. And this one is beginning to hum just like the others. It will eventually break on me, just like the others. My car is not crazy powerful to break rears like it does. So what I wanted to know is: What should I check for in the drivetrain and transmission that would make 3 rears break? Tranny mount? Unbalanced driveshaft? Trailing arms? I'm not good with this stuff, so if anyone could help me it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Driver?
What one thing is in common with all 3 of those rears? Think about it.
Kind of like the guy that goes through job after job, can't keep one, and if you ask him (her) why, it's because every single employer he's ever had is an anus and doesn't know how to run his business, even though those businesses have been there for decades making money and other people seem to be able to work there for years on end without problems.... the problem there isn't the employers either.
There's not a whole lot about the car itself that can make it eat rears. Even the driveshaft angle as ede mentioned would eat U-joints faster than rear ends. It doesn't sound like a car problem to me. I believe I'd adjust my driving technique if I was you.
