Ok everytime I downshift into 1st at a very slow speed I feel and hear a thump, Very violent thump at that. Both of my cars do this and Im thinking trans mounts but the trans doesnt slam under normal shifts.

Is this due to me knowing nothing or is there something wrong with the trans? thanks.

Mine does the same thing, and I dont really think anythings wrong with it, i just had it built lass than 200 miles ago.
