TV Cable too short......??????

Okay, I just finished my transmission swap, and everything was going suprisingly smoothly until I tried to hook up my TV cable to the bracket... it doesn't even come close to reaching far enough, it's like it's a foot too short... but it's the same transmission ( 700r4 ) as I had before with the same cable... I've got everything else just about done and this stupid problem is holding me up... please help.... :hail:

I just had to replace my TV cable too, since it was wayyy short. The new one is the right length. Some meathead swapped to a TH350, then back to a 700R4 with the thing and didn't use the right cable. I'd measure how long a cable you need and hit the nearest GM dealer.

By the way man, do you know where the seal is between the transmission housing and the cable? I didn't see one when I took out the old cable and now with the new one it leaks like hell.

Maybe it has a shorter one and I just didn't notice? I guess I could try getting the one of the old tranny....

Nope, not sure about the seal question.

Btw, your screen name.... :sillylol:
