Need a new rear...What should i get best buy used for low $?
Today was horrible... i was rounding a curve and my tail broke loose i 180d up onto a curb, chipping my wheel and cracking my axle, bending lower control arm on the passenger side... anyway i am looking into a new rear... i want to replace the whole thing... should i stick with a 3rd gen rear or should i go with a 4th gen rear? how much would i be looking to spend on a used rear? and what gears should i use for street/strip purpose?

dont know abotu the 4th gen rears
but i think rears go for around 250-400 bucks- i think that includes the diffy, gears, and disc brakes
gears...
3:23- entry level performance gear
3:42- compromise between performance and mileage
3:73- all out performance for a street car
4:10 or numerically higher- great for 1/4 mile, less streetable
