9 Bolt Rear ends

I am putting a new motor and tranny into my car and want something stronger than the stock 10 bolt. I was wondering if the 9 bolt is stronger, and what cars did it come in. I want to get a 12 bolt or a 9" but they are just so expensive, I have other places to spend 2k.

Thanks Alot
Nathan

The BW 9-bolt would be a good choice if you can locate one from a 1989 3rd Gen would be your best choice. Only three stock ratios 2:77. 3:27 and a rare 3:45 all with Limited Slip. Some aftermarket ratios available, but expensive.
