Alright i installed white gauge overlays in my 87 305 t.p.i. I took it by one of the radar stand things and at various speeds it looks like my car thinks its going 25% faster than the actual speed ( says 50 atctually doing 40, 90 - 70, and so on) i called the only speedometer place around and they dont do cable driven repairs anymore. i dont know if when i took the needles off if i ****ed it up or if i broke the speedo gears in the tranny and driveshaft. i know a lot of people had problems with this and i just need to know if i can do it myself and difficulty rating and where i can get speedo gears and lube if i need to get a new cable, gears, and just hope it fixes it. any thoughts will help.
