hey guys, there is a guy in my town that is selling two rears. one is from a 69 camaro and the other is from a 74 trans am. both are 10 bolt. i am wondering if one of these rears would fit on my 89 camaro. thanks for any help.

 

nope, they dont have provisions for a torque arm, or lower control arms, or the panhard bar, and the length is probably different. Hold off untill you can find a 3rd or 4th gen rear. Eith will work fine. With the 4th gen rear, your wheels will stick out slightly (not sure how much), but its an easy way to upgrade to disc brakes at the same time. Hope that helps!
