Get the Transgo Recalibration Kit. You can get them from Pro-Built. The transmission does not have to come out. Everything can be done by just dropping the pan.

well im just wondering because if its too much of a project, ill see how much for a garage to do it.... also, there were 2 kits, the "shift improver" and that street strip kit, or somthing like that, im just looking for some snappier shifts, and better acceleration off the line, im kinda low on funds, would the cheaper one be worth the money, or would the bigger one be better for your $, also, is this going to hurt my transmission in any way thanks for your help on this....

I've heard of shops installing it for about 150.

So I think you're looking at $150-200 just for labor.
