Ok...Im going to the shop Friday. Pretty sure tranny mount is gone, get the classic 'clunk' during hard shifts especially into passing gear. Question is though, I've been experiencing 2 other things over the last few days. First, when the tranny shifts sometimes now it won't only clunk but it like shakes or vibrates during shift. Secondly, at all speeds when Im driving *not just during shifts but all driving* I am feeling this constant pop or clunk from under me. It's like if you took where my foot is on the gas pedal and went below the floor right there I can FEEL it under there. Could this just be a really bad mount to? Maybe it knocked something else loose? Its not loud but its like a constant every second or 2 pop or clunk from under the car. ANy help appreciated! Thanks.

 

Yeah sounds like tranny mount to me... it's an easy fix... once that's taken care of, just see if the clunk still exists....

 

Ok went to do my first fix and was looking for the two bolts......realized THEY WEREN'T THERE!! Ugh. lol Guessing that might cause a problem, the mount wasn't even attached to the tranny. No idea where the bolts are. Though Ive found it looks very easy to replace the mount, Im worried why would the bolts be gone? Thing the place they go into are stripped out? DIdnt have any of the right size bolts tonight and hardware stores were closed so will update tommorow....Does anyone know the exact sizes I need for those 2 side bolts on the tranny mount? Would be helpful.
