ATF everywhere! Can't figure out where its comin from

I have 89 GTA, 305 with a T5. I have an ATF leak. somewhere.. I have yet to be able to track it down.. the transmission is completely soaked.. It drips 2 or 3 drips a night onto the ground.. At first we though it might be the seal around the VSS. but now i'm not too sure..
ANyone have any tricks on how to track this down? Since I don't have a hoist.. I don't want to drop the tranny unless I really have to.. We wiped it off and couldn't see it seeping out anywhere... we raised the rear and ran the car for about 5-10 min.. again nothing...

Thanks

Greg.

Sounds like your just going to have to clean the tranny completely off, then let it run. Where is it dripping from, the front, back, sides, etc??? There are alot of potential leak points on this tranny, you'll just have to narrow it down.

do manuals have a tv cable? if so perhaps you're leaking out of where the cable bolts up, I've had a shop snap one off and I didn't realize it for a long time.

Probably the front countergear bearing's O-ring.
