When the trans is cold, it shifts with a crazy jolt. After it warms up, it does not do it as bad, but still shifts hard. Is this the shift kit? When I originally bought the trans, I was told by Phoenix that it had a shift kit installed. Is this what they mean by "firm shift"?? Line pressure to high?

One other thing is puzzling. From 2nd going onto 3rd, If I let off the gas before it crescendo's into 3rd(D), it CLUNKS into 3rd (D) instead of staying in 2nd. Can anything be done about the harsh CLUNKS?

I believe the TV cable is set correctly.

 

My 200-4r was clunking from 3rd to 2nd on coast to a stop. I
marked my cable housing with a knife, then moved my cable housing forward one notch ( less TV) and the clunk was gone.
