I have a question about getting my 700R4 tranny rebuilt. Wanted to just get an idea of how much it would cost to get mine rebuilt. Thanks

Depends on what kind of rebuild, but if your not doing it will roughly be $1000-$1500 for a simple rebuild, on up to around $2500 for the most bad *** tranny ever built by man. Mines going to be costing around $2000, with me building it.

Just had my 700 rebuilt. Cost was $900 +$35 towing. Nothing fancy in the rebuild. A few stiffer springs, new converter, front pump and flywheel.

That is a remove, rebuild and replace.

Some estimates were in the $1000 - $1800 range though!

Forget the rebuild. By one from Probuilt for under $1500. It is built with everything and well worth the money. Rebuilds are a waste of money because anyone that is going to do a real good job is going to charge you way too much to do it.
