torqueconverter slipage

I have 91 gta. It has accel intake, vet runners, bbk fuel pressure reg., 250 holley fuel pump, votech supercharger, 3.73 gears. I have problems getting of the line, it falls on its face. I was told to put a torque converter lock out switch on it? My question its should I do that or just switch torque converts or both? Thanks

If its the stock converter, definatly change it out for a stall converter. I think you will find this to make a huge differance, it did for me. A stall give you that ability to leave the line at a greater rpm. The problems I faced after installing my 2500 stall was traction. I had to learn how to drive the car again. After I got it down I was stomping my 60 ft times. 1991 Z28
