Anyone got a used t5 for sale?

i am thinking of jus putting a t5 in and ditchin the damn 700. tired of all the problems.

I don't think all of those teeth in your old tranny can be blamed on the T5. Read your last post in that link. Powershifting into 2nd and trying to get the car moving from a stop in 5th.

Not trying to flame you, but these transmission will last about as long as the driver wants them to. If the driver realizes that there is not a bullet proof tranny in the car and uses the clutch pedal every now and then, there trannys might last a little longer. There are alot of guys on here who have a lot of miles on their T5 and still manage to get good times out of the car with it. Nobody on here will say that it is the best trany ever made, but it's not all bad. Beats having an auto.

Beats having an auto.
Which is why i keep lookig for a new T5 - that and not enough cash for a T56.
Power shifting into second was because I didn't know it was a weak tranny and starting in 5th was cause of powershifting into second...

I just wanted to make sure you knew the t5 was weak.

BTW whole kits show up on ebay all the time and usally go for $400 to $800.
