torque converter choice

i have purchased a Pro-Built road race (was recommend because of greater durabillity) 700r4 transmission, and now i need a torque converter. nothing's wrong with the stock converter except that it is a stock converter, i need something more aggresive. i have been looking around at Yank, PI, and a local shop wants to sell me a custom converter by Nill Chance. here is the break down.

Nill Chance $700 Yank Converters $850 PI $689
2.4k~2.8k stall 3.6k stall custom stall
9.5" dia 10" dia 9.5" dia
non lockup posi lockup single plate lockup
?STR 2.70 STR custom STR

i am thinking about buying a PI because of the quality and the price. has anybody herd of Nill Chance converters? the only thing i dont like about the Yank is that it's a 10" converter, but if the STR is too low compaired to the Yank and Yank can adjust the stall lower i might go with them. Is there any reason i should or should not buy one of these converters?
