Alright guys i'm in the middle of a trans swap in my 88 IROC with the 700R4. I'm swapping in another 700R4 ("Raptor 700") made by Performance Auto Transmission Center down in Lousiana and it was built to 92 specs. Now i've already swapped in the speedo stuff from my old trans including the plastic housing that the cable driven speedo goes into as well as the gears on the tailshaft. I went to plug in the VSS from my car into the new trans and it didn't seem to fit. Is there a difference between the VSS connections from 88 and 92? If so what must be done for me to get that sensor to plug in? I'm not entirely sure if there is a difference or not but there was definitely a lot of resistance when i tried to push it in so i wanted to check before breaking anything in the sensor itself. I need this info asap if possible, I appreciate any help!
