Search next time....T-5s are known to be Weak, Especially under extra power and powershifting etc...T56 is MUCH stronger
the t-56 is far superior to to the t-5.

I say go with a later model T5 (World Class) T5, cheaper to repair and easy as hell to work on. There is a guy in town with a 700 rwhp mustang he has the T5 and he has only broken his 3rd gear but that is also alot of power. Go with the T5.

Project j doesnt know that Mustangs are different cases. My guess that guy babies it and is just lucky. If you start looking at specs you'll see a "World Class" only holds 30 more hp then a normal T-5. Also T-5s are only good under 300 ft/lb of torque....Again Project J might have seen one of the few t-5s that are workin ok. Or that one might have G Force Kit or something like that. But if you you search you will find post after post of t-5s tearing up and needing replacement, Even in stock cars!EXAMPLES....
