Question on rear end

Hey everybody,

Just curious as to how many people are using Ford 9" rear ends in their 3rd gen. Also, for those that have done it, how many modifications will I have to make to my 89 RS to put this in? Also, will I be able to run rear disc brakes, or will I have to use drum brakes?

Thanks for the help.

David

im gonna be running a chrysler 8 3/4 , it has to all be custom fabbed, we had to cut all the perches off the chrysler rear , cut all the perches off a spare 3rd gen rear and weld the perches onto the chrysler, its only partly done as of now.

Was gonna order mine, but got in a pinch and needed a carb worse. www.quickperformance.com makes them and bolt right in like a factory diff. Prices are WAAY cheaper than Currie or Moroso. have a choice of upgrading to disc for another $200.
