Hey guys, my freind ha sa zexel torsion posi from slp that 100bucks ans some 3.42 gears. now with a normal posi unit when u spin one wheel while off the ground the other one will spin the same direction correct? now with his car if u spin one wheel the other one does absolutly nothing, no matter wut way u spin it it just stays still. Now is this how these things work or wut??

is the trans in gear/park?

also, since this is not a clutch type posi, I am not sure if the wheels will spin the same direction if you turn one with both off the ground, I have one though and I love it

Now if theres no clutches what wears out in these things? or are they the forever posi that everyone has been looking for lol. Also is this design any stronger then the clutch type that came stock in the 3rd gens? Thanks for making me just a bit smarter then the next...

The "no clutch" style posi's (like the one you're talking about) virtually last forever. I don't know if they will act like a normal posi with the tires off of the ground though.
