You can check your stock gear ratio with the tables in the Tech Data section. And unless you're a skilled mechanic with the knowledge and tools, I recommend taking your car in to a shop for a gear/posi install. Thats what I plan to do. SLP has an OEM posi unit for $100, and I'm currently looking for decently priced 3.73 gears.

Estimated cost to install gears is $300 from what I hear.
*** this is going to be so expensive, but worth it.
I'm hearing 3-4 tenths off an ET from 2.73 open to 3.73 posi

The installation of a Limited Slip (aka posi) all depends on what rear you now have. For example a 10-bolt 2-series 26 spline axles=no aftermarket products. So you have to know what you have first before you start looking for parts.

Will a shop usually recalibrate your spedo after the gears are installed... or is this something that I have to look into if I do this?
