ok, about a year ago, i installed a supposedly rebuilt 700r4 tranny into my camaro. the tranny came out of an 86 astro van so i changed the valve body and put in a transgo shift kit and corvette servo. the transmission shifts really fast though the gears and doesn't go into 4th (od) until about 40 mph. it also doesn't down shift when i hit the gas while cruising in od or when i slow down and then accelerate again. does anyone have any ideas whats wrong? i've read that it could be the governor but i swapped it from my old tranny which shifted fine until the bands went out. any help would be appreciated, i miss driving my car.
