I need help! I have a 91' RS 3.1L 5 Speed.

Just installed new clutch kit. and now it seems as if the clutch is not working.

Transmission will not shift into gear. You can try all gears, no luck. Reverse Grinds when you try it.

With the engine off, it seems as if the transmission goes into gear even when not pressing the clutch.

No problems while installing the clutch, I don't have any idea what to do.

The clutch is not disengaging. You may have the wrong clutch, the throw out bearing may be installed wrong or the fork might not be on the pivot ball correctly. it is also not uncommon for a failing Master slave assy to go south the minute it is touched (murphy's law of mechanics)
