Are there non-WC T5 upgrades?

If g-force only makes upgraded WC T5s then who upgrades the non-WCs? Any info. is appreciated

Good question!!

None that I could find. That's why I ended up buying the whole tranny from G Force.

But why do you need to upgrade?? A good rebuild and they'll take quite a bit of abuse.....so long as you don't beat on it constantly.

Thanks for the response! Will a rebuilt T5 hold up to 400 hp carbed 350 though?

There's so many variables to that question. Depends on the driver, tranny condition etc...

Torque is what kills them, not HP. I'd assume something over 400 HP would exceed the 210 or so FTLB torque rating on your tranny.

There's some guys on here running T-5's behind 350's, 383's and 400's. I'm sure they are forced to drive normally most of the time in order not to shred them.
